Hey guys, thanks for joining me here today. Now you can see that my head is covered with wings with a bunch of eyes. This is purely to help cement my purpose for this blog post – I AM GOING TO PREDICT THE FUTURE! *dun da da! sound effects* Do I look like someone who would life to you?
I drew out some cards as a forecast for 2019. You know, “new year new yourk” and other such stuff related to an end and then begin again…
2019 – SKT reading for the year ahead. World wide watcherscope.
- Deck used Spirit Keeper’s Tarot, by Benebell Wen.
- Cards drawn 31 December 2018.
- Published interpretations and divination (this post here, essentially) 1 February 2019.
January to April.
January: the discerning one. Realisations have been made, seeing progress in your ideas and then deciding how best to approach the issue. Ensuring your footing will be sure before you venture off on your path.
February: the chariot of osiris reversed. It is time to slow down. Your progress may become hindered, almost like you’re losing your enthusiasm or your sense of self. The air feels thick and stagnant, you are stuck in the middle of wherever you find yourself. Ok. This is where you need to park your chariot, get out and have a look around. Get ready to make yourself comfortable, looks like it’s going to be a long night.
March: the giver (6 orbs) reversed. You will need to accept what is being offered to you. It is your turn to reap the harvest of whatever seeds you have sown. Give to yourself, accept what others have to give. You’re going to need all the help you can get.
April: the ebony shield reversed. Ok, set up your fortress because you need to fortify yourself against what is going to come your way. Your guard is weak, strengthen it. Your downfall won’t come from where you think it will.
May to August
May: the apocalypse. My favourite prediction card heck yes. It’s my karma-geddon, baby. The past will come to light; what was once buried and forgotten will come back and be revealed. Help others, not just yourself.
June: the haunt (9 swords). Shame, sadness, guilt and sleeplessness. What are you trying to hide from? What is lurking in the shadows of your memory? You need to reevaluate and reassess your priorities, your character, and your actions. Not fun. Test of your discipline.
July: the shining winds, a swirling gale. The knight of the tempest is gathering force, collecting all of his powers towards him. He is preparing to be utilised. The intellect, the mind, the inner genius is awakening. Put yourself out there, feel the spirit begging you to wield it.
August: the archangel of mysteries, reversed. My time to shine, or illuminate. Emergent from the shadows, the mysterious loses mystery. What does it evoke in you? Careful not to go mad. Know yourself, know the truth of what is around you. Take tentative steps. Everyone will be watching.
September to December
September: the magus: divinity in man, power spirit. Time for doing, or rather, you’re so gung-ho on your own power that you’re a bit of a jerk. People may shun you because they don’t like your energy (too forceful? Or domineering? Control freak? Too hard core in your face?). Have some tact, approach with a genteel spirit.
October: the noctune (2 orbs) reversed. It’s dark and you are not alone. Furtive and careful steps, slow turning and deliberate movement. It is a dance, and you do not want to step on anyone’s toes lest you lose your head. Have the right partner by your side to help you. Trust and friendship is incredibly important now.
November: the bereaved (3 swords). Moderation, healing from grief, release of backlog of inner pain. Allow the emotion to wash you clean and be free from your shit. Remember the lessons learned from your pain. Don’t forget them, or you’ll have to experience it all over again so you will LEARN how to guard your heart, but still leave it open to love.
December: the outlaw (hanged man) reversed. This new perspective become the new normal. If you’re not used to it, try to get used to it, even if you feel sick. Radiate and emanate, illuminate the darkness and see the world through your whole new sight. Embrace the chaos, learn to go with the flow.
